Science Fiction Thrillers

As a professional engineer, I worked many years managing large portfolios of buildings and critical infrastructure for global corporations. In this role, I had to diagnose technical problems and explain causes and solutions to decision makers who have no technical grounding in the subject. This experience pushed me to a precision and economy of writing style. So goes my Science Fiction writing — I adhere to the philosophy that every word is important; an audience can be won or lost on a single word or phrase.

I study astronomy, physics and rocketry and love to explain complex concepts in ways that integrate them with a fast moving story. Notwithstanding this backdrop of hard science, characters and events drive good story and I endeavor to develop rich character profiles and multi-threaded interweaving plotlines.

My original inspiration was Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Series because of the masterful way he handles extremely long timelines, which is highly germane to my current work.
